The collateral damage was extensive, something that Ken Lum doesn’t shy away from. You do not have to look closely at the 3D printed sculpture you can see piles of rubble in city squares, collapsed walls and what appears to be a destroyed church dome.

Peace through Valour was a gift from the Italian-Canadian community in honour of the more than 93,000 Canadian troops that fought to liberate Italy from the Nazis.
